Cosmostreamer connects to Insta360 cams and receives video, which are then transmitted to the HDMI output or in local network.

Video stream from Insta360 cams is very heavy, 30-50 Mbit/s (depends on resolution). Cosmostreamer may decode video and show on HDMI only if resolution is not higher than 1080p.

Cosmostreamer may be connected to Insta360 cams only with Wi-Fi.


Features

  • Video receiving from Insta360 cams (video only, no audio!) and stream in local network or via Internet. But a good internet connection is needed for sending video with bitrate 30-50 Mbit/s.
  • Video output on HDMI works if resolution is not higher than 1080p
  • Native video from Insta360 cams is a two-fisheye in one frame with resolutions 1920x960, 2176x1088, 2560x1280, 3840x1920. Also available two independent streams from each sensor with resolution 2560x2560 each.
  • Video transmition in RTSP, SRT, RTMP, raw UDP H264 protocols
  • Recording video from camera on internal microSD card or USB flash drive

Q: Can I just unplug the power cable from the box??
A: Yes, the file system on the microSD is in read-only mode, so you can unplug the power cable without any problem
